From the days that are gone.

A collection of regionally specific objects,
books, furniture, and art gathered during
summer wanderings along the backroads
of the Pacific Northwest. Findings examines
the raw hardpan layers of humanity and
history that lies beneath the technotopian
clouds of the present.

Aperture Magazine Volume 3, Number 4, published in 1955, featured a photographic essay by Imogen Cunningham highlighting the work of Morris Graves, a leading figure in the Northwest School of American painting. Cunningham’s photographs captured the essence of Graves’ visionary and symbolic art, reflecting his deep connection to nature, spirituality, and Eastern philosophies. This collaboration remains a notable example of the dialogue between two influential 20th-century artists, which had a direct effect on the region.
