Tulalip First Nations
Cedar hat

$700

This cedar hat was made by a member of the Tulalip First Nation, continuing a centuries-old tradition of Northwest Coast craftsmanship. Woven from Western Red Cedar, the hat is both lightweight and water-resistant, reflecting its origins as functional rain gear for hunters and fishers. Beyond its practical use, the hat is richly cultural, with its form and weave carrying the artistry and symbolism of Tulalip heritage.
