This vintage paper collar finished with a single pearl button reflects the style of the mid-1800s through the early 1900s, when detachable collars and cuffs made laundering easier and more affordable for office and store workers. Designed to be stiff and crisp, early paper collars were a practical, disposable alternative to costly linen, and by the 1920s, they were largely replaced by reusable celluloid versions. Lightweight and elegant, this collar offers a unique, collectible piece of fashion history. These Collars, in particular, date to the Edwardian era.
