From the days that are gone.

A collection of regionally specific objects,
books, furniture, and art gathered during
summer wanderings along the backroads
of the Pacific Northwest. Findings examines
the raw hardpan layers of humanity and
history that lies beneath the technotopian
clouds of the present.

Leo Kenney (1925–2001) was an American painter associated with the second generation of the Northwest School. Largely self-taught, he gained early recognition when the Seattle Art Museum acquired his work while he was still in his twenties. Kenney’s early paintings drew from Surrealism, later evolving into luminous abstract compositions marked by geometry, radiant color, and a quiet spiritual intensity. His work reflects a synthesis of inner vision, nature, and modernist experimentation, and remains a distinctive contribution to Pacific Northwest art.
